Intrinsic in-game ads
Anzu.io, the world’s leading intrinsic in-game advertising platform, and Playgama, a web-gaming distribution and monetization company, have partnered to bring realistic, non-disruptive ad placements to web games.
Intrinsic ads are non-intrusive, in-game advertisements seamlessly integrated into the gameplay environment — like billboards, posters, or screens that naturally fit within the world. They don’t interrupt the player and are often dynamically updated through ad networks to show real brand campaigns.
This new advertising ecosystem provides game developers with an incremental revenue source by placing ads onto in-game objects within the virtual world.

A live showcase of the integration is already available on Playgama.com. The title Gangsta Island: Crime City demonstrates how intrinsic ads seamlessly blend into the gameplay environment, appearing as billboards. This helps partners and developers to explore the real-world implementation of Anzu’s technology within Playgama’s web gaming ecosystem.

The initial rollout supports Unity (WebGL), Cocos, and JavaScript, with additional game engines to follow.
